Nick Karageorgiou, Tenor Guest Artist
Nick Karageorgiou is quickly gaining reputation as a formidable high tenor in the chamber music scene. Reviewed as having an "effortless tenor" voice (Duluth News Tribune), he has been heard singing with groups such as The Choir of Trinity Wall Street, The St. Thomas Choir of Men and Boys, True Concord, The Crossing, The Rose Ensemble, The Mirandola Ensemble, The Thirteen, Variant Six, and Kinnara Ensemble.
As a soloist, Nick has been heard tackling the works of Bach under Matthew Glandorf and Choral Arts Philadelphia. On NYE, he sang as tenor soloist in Bach's complete Christmas Oratorio, in addition to a handful of secular and sacred Bach cantatas. This NYE, he will be singing in Monteverdi's Vespers of 1610. He has also been heard as the tenor soloist in Mozart's Requiem with Exultate in Minneapolis.
This will be Nick's second engagement with Trident Ensemble. He is beyond excited and grateful for another opportunity to collaborate with stellar colleagues.
